Donors, recruited and kept online

Digital fundraising for non-profits

Online giving fails less at the campaign than at the last step: a donation page that asks too much, a payment that does not work on a phone, a first gift that is never followed up. We build the whole journey — from the campaign that finds a supporter to the monthly gift that keeps them.

Digital fundraising is recruiting and keeping donors online: campaigns that find new supporters, donation pages and payment journeys that convert, recurring giving, and the donor journeys that follow a first gift.

What does a good donation page need?

As few fields as possible, suggested amounts that say what each one does, payment options people already trust, an obvious option to give monthly, and a clear statement of where the money goes. It must work quickly on a phone, because that is where most donors will first see it.

What we do

Four parts of the work

01

Donor acquisition campaigns

Campaigns on search, social and email that reach people who care about your cause, tested small and scaled on what works rather than on what looks busy.

02

Donation page and payment experience

A donation journey that does not lose people at the last step: fewer fields, clear amounts, trusted payment options and a page that loads fast on a phone.

03

Recurring giving

Making monthly giving the easy choice, and moving one-off donors to regular support once they have seen what their first gift achieved.

04

Donor journeys

What happens after a gift: thank-yous, updates from the work, timely appeals and lapsed-donor follow-up, automated so a small team can keep up.

Giving types

One-off or recurring donations?

Both matter, for different reasons. One-off gifts respond to urgent appeals and bring in new supporters; recurring gifts make income predictable and grow in value the longer a donor stays. A healthy programme uses one-off giving to recruit and recurring giving to sustain.

Questions

Digital fundraising: common questions

Why do people abandon a donation page?

Usually for avoidable reasons: too many fields, a slow or unfamiliar payment step, unclear amounts, surprise redirects, or no reassurance about where the money goes. Every extra step loses some donors. We test the donation journey end to end, on a phone, before any campaign money is spent sending people to it.

How do you turn one-off donors into regular givers?

By asking at the right moment and making it easy: offering monthly giving on the donation page, following a first gift with a thank-you and an update on the work, and inviting regular support once the donor has seen what their gift did. Recurring giving is earned, then asked for.

Which channels work for digital fundraising?

Paid social and search campaigns for acquisition, email and WhatsApp for follow-up and appeals, and your own website and content as the place every channel leads to. The right mix depends on your supporters and your cause; we test small before scaling what works.

How do you work with our team on digital fundraising?

Closely and in the open. Your team approves the messages and the asks, we run the campaigns, donation journeys and email, and everyone sees the same dashboard of what each channel raises, so decisions about where to spend next are made together.

Stop losing donors at the last step

We start by testing your donation journey end to end, then build campaigns on top of a journey that works.
