Business process and technology transformation
Scaling a broken process only loses money faster. We find where the business leaks time and margin, fix the way the work is done, and then rebuild the systems and data underneath it — with your team, so it lasts.
Transformation is the practice that changes how an organisation runs: the processes its work moves through, and the systems and data those processes depend on.
What is revenue leakage?
Revenue leakage is money a business has earned but never collects, or spends without noticing: unbilled work, missed renewals, discounts nobody approved, errors between systems, slow collections. It rarely shows up as one large loss, which is why it persists. Finding it starts with following money through the process step by step.
Two halves of the same job
Business process transformation
How the work is done: where it slows, where it is duplicated, where it costs more than it should and where money slips out.
Technology transformation
What the work runs on: the systems and tools, how data moves between them, the reporting built on top, and whether people actually use any of it.
Should we fix the process or buy new software first?
Fix the process first. Software built around a broken process makes the problem faster and harder to change. Once the work flows the way it should, the right tools are usually obvious, and often simpler and cheaper than the ones that looked necessary at the start.
Which kind of automation do you need?
Automating how the business runs — operations, internal tools, data between systems — is technology transformation. Automating marketing — how enquiries are captured, followed up and reported — is the last stage of the Digital practice. Same word, two different jobs, and usually two different people asking.
| Technology transformation | Digital: Intelligence & Automation | |
|---|---|---|
| What gets automated | Operations, workflows, internal tools, data flows between systems | Lead capture, qualification, follow-up, nurture, campaign reporting |
| Who usually asks | Operations, finance or the founder | Marketing or sales lead |
| What it should change | Fewer manual steps, fewer errors, data people can trust | Fewer lost leads, faster response, less manual reporting |

Transformation: common questions
Where does a transformation engagement start?
By mapping how the work actually flows today — not how the process document says it flows — and finding where time, money and information are lost. That map decides what to change first. Most organisations are surprised less by the problems than by how much effort goes into working around them.
Do you implement the changes, or only recommend them?
We implement them with your team: redesigning the workflow, configuring or building the tools, moving the data and training the people who will run it. A recommendation that nobody implements does not change how a business runs, which is the whole point of the work.
What is the difference between process and technology transformation?
Process transformation changes how the work is done: the steps, handoffs, controls and costs. Technology transformation changes the tools and data the work runs on. They are usually needed together, and the process comes first, because new systems built around a broken process carry the problem into the new system.
Is AI automation part of Transformation?
Automating how the business runs — operations, internal tools, data between systems — is part of technology transformation. Automating marketing, such as lead follow-up and campaign reporting, is the final stage of the Digital practice. If you are unsure which you need, the first conversation will make it clear.
Find out where the business leaks
We start by mapping how the work really flows, so the first change we make is the one that matters most.
